Introducing Tanoto Foundation Professor in Diabetes Research: Professor Yibin Wang

Tanoto Foundation is committed to advancing healthcare and medical research, particularly in diseases prevalent in Singapore and the region. Since 2009 in partnership with SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, the Tanoto Foundation Professorships in diabetes, medical oncology, and cardiovascular medicine were established to drive innovations in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
Tanoto Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Yibin Wang as the new Tanoto Foundation Professor in Diabetes Research. Professor Wang is the Program Director for the Signature Research Program in Cardiovascular & Metabolic Disorders at Duke-NUS Medical School. His groundbreaking research has uncovered the genetic and molecular mechanisms behind diabetes, obesity, and heart failure. His work has already led to drug developments and clinical trials, offering hope for patients worldwide.
