Belinda Tanoto
Belinda Tanoto focuses on human capital investment initiatives in early childhood development, stunting prevention, and developing synergies with like-minded philanthropic and development organizations.
Ms. Tanoto speaks and writes regularly on poverty alleviation, basic education, and early childhood education and development – issues in sustainable development that she is most passionate about. She also actively supports the mobilization of multi-stakeholder alliances and initiatives to champion these endeavors in Indonesia and the region. Additionally, she steers Tanoto Foundation’s medical philanthropy and partnerships with medical research institutions.
In 2019, Ms. Tanoto was recognised alongside Anderson Tanoto by Forbes as one of Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy, for their philanthropic work through Tanoto Foundation.
A Finance and Political Science graduate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with an MBA from the Harvard Business School, Ms. Tanoto is active in the palm oil business of Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), where she serves as Managing Director and Executive Management Board member.
